Primary Grades Homeroom Teacher

At Lote Tree Learning we teach in a different way. We believe that learning comes naturally to children and that any type of primary education should include games, movement and lots of play. Working hours are from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Job description:
Leading max 10 children in educational activities
Preparing, delivering and evaluating lesson plans
Providing instruction in different subjects
Providing instruction to several grade levels simultaneously
Responsible for collecting evaluation data regarding student progress
Must be active in program evaluation
Responsible for class administration
Responsible for developing student profiles
Responsible for developing Individualized Study Plan
Responsible for maintaining classroom materials
Must keep a daily report of all activities occurring in their assigned program
Attending monthly parent meetings
Attending weekly team meetings
Assisting in experiential activities
Attending on trips
Responsible for safety of children in the group

Office Manager/Admin
We are looking for an office manager/admin to support our office at Lote Tree Learning Center. Hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Your tasks will be:
Sort, catalogue and sticker library books
Enter data into library excel sheet
Organize, order and prepare material lists for activities
Print documents
Upload books for printing orders
Follow up with printer
Edit videos
Answer phone
Respond on social media
Communicate with management
Supervise and follow up with cleaning
Purchase and manage supplies
Update student files
Update new registrations
Manage agenda
Log finances
Do general research on various topics when needed
Generate any document needed

Assistant Teacher
The assistant teacher assists the homerooom teacher(s) in managing and coordinating all activities for her assigned group. The homeroom teacher is ultimately responsible for the group’s performance and assures that the group functions in accordance to the rules and guidelines of the center, the assistant is assigned to making these tasks possible.
We are looking for creative and dynamic individuals that want to be part of our growing and dynamic team. Our teachers are ready to learn and able to work independently as well as be part of a team. Working hours are from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

We are often looking for creative individuals who can teach something to kids and teens. If you are such an individual, please do let us know what you wish to teach or do after school or weekends. Below are some creatives we are looking for, but this list is by no means exhaustive! We have positions for volunteers as well as paid positions. We encourage students to apply to build work experience and portfolio!

Volunteers
Help us build a community!
We are always looking for volunteers. We need conlunteers in the after school program to help out with activities, to teach activites or to assist in the library.
You decide the time you wish to volunteer and we will place you accordingly!

Activities Leader
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who loves organizing actvities! Your hours would be sunday through Thursday starting from 3:30 pm until 8 pm, and weekends are flexible.
Art Teacher
We will offer an art class after school or in the weekends, teaching different forms of art. The class runs once per week and can take from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and difficulty level of the project.
Crochet Instructor
We will offer a Crochet/knitting class after school or in the weekends. The class runs once per week and can take from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and difficulty level of the project.
Film Enthusiast
Are you simply mad about movies and film? Do you enjoy making films? Would you like to teach kids and teens how to make a movie? Then we are looking for you!
We will offer a film club after school or in the weekends. The class runs once per week and can take from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and difficulty level of the project.
We also would like to organize monthly outdoor movie watching, centered around a theme: oldies, James Bond series, Retro Movies etc.
Theater Director
Can you simply not get enough of theater and acting? Would you like to teach kids and teens acting classes and rehearse a play? Then we are looking for you!
We will offer a theater club after school or in the weekends. The class runs once per week and can take from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and difficulty level of the project.
This would ultimately culminate in a theater show that will be performed at the center.
Fitness Instructor
Are you a fitness buff? Know everything there is to know about fitness and nutrition? Do you want to impart your knowledge on young brains and have some fun while doing this? Then we are looking for you!
We will offer Kids' Fitness after school or in the weekends. The class runs once per week (or more, depending on interests) and takes atound 45 minutes. The class should teach kids about the importance of exercise while being led in a fun workout. Workouts can range from cardio, body weight and stretching, while incorporating fun games, fitness challenges
